Research Associate, Metal EarthEmail: druiz_arriaga@laurentian.ca
I am a dedicated Mexican geoscientist with a passion for both fieldwork and laboratory research. My expertise lies in integrating field data, structural geology, stratigraphy, and thermo- and geo-chronology to build comprehensive surface and subsurface geological interpretations and reconstruct depositional environments. I hold a Bachelors' and Master's degree from Mexico National University and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Awards/Commendations
I completed my master's and PhD with full funding from Mexico's National Science Foundation. In recognition of my research, I was honoured with the 2021 Geological Society of America Structural Geology and Tectonic Division Student Research Award.
